After adapting to a virtual festival last year, 5X Festival’s annual Block Party is back this year and more hype than ever before.

With the purpose to connect South Asians through an epic celebration of art, music, and culture, the 5X Block Party features an array of both local and international performers, who defy the limitations of what it means to be a part of the South Asian diaspora.

Artists such as Mickey Singh, Jaz Dhami, and Raja Kumari have graced the stage and pushed the boundaries at previous events, and become apart of the #5XFamily.

You may remember in 2019 when Jasmine Sandlas made headlines for lighting up a joint on stage, or when the RCMP banned Sidhu Moosewala from performing.

You too, can join the #5XFamily and make history this year in September with a live and in-person festival.

The three-day music and art festival is happening September 17-19 and features some of the hottest South Asian talents in North America, including Fateh and The PropheC, who collaborated in 2018 to drop the banger “On My Own.”

Other artists such as Intense Music, who created the track “Umbrella,” along with Diljit Dosanjh and Chani Nattan, will also be performing, as well as other local artists such as Raman Bains and Karishma Deo, who is practically Tik Tok famous.

Last year’s virtual festival, Race To The Stage, featured 60+ creatures, 40+ artists, and tons of prizes for folks to win, and this year will be even better!

Here’s a glimpse of the greatness you can expect to witness at this years Block Party:
