General

What does 5X stand for?

The name 5X is a nod to our roots in Bhangra. The “5” in 5X refers to Punj and Punjab. The “X” in 5X is just a cool letter! But it can also stand for ‘experience’, a multiplier effect, or even the intersection of east and west; old and new - and our hybrid identities!

Is it all-ages?

Sure is! Everyone is welcome to attend. All attendees aged 11 and under are eligible for a free ticket on our ticketing page. They must be accompanied by an adult and must show proof of age on entry.

What if it rains?

5X Blockparty is rain or shine!

Refunds & Ticket Transfers

Can I get a refund?

FULLY REFUNDABLE if the event is canceled due to public health orders. No refunds otherwise.

Can I transfer my ticket?

Yes, if you are unable to attend you can transfer your ticket. To transfer a ticket to another person, login to your Eventbrite account, go to tickets, select your order, click edit, and change the ticket information accordingly.

What Should I Bring?

What should I bring (or not bring)?

Yourself, your good vibes, and anything else that makes you feel safe and secure. We just don’t allow any outside food or drinks.

Is there a coat or bag check?

There will not be a place to put your stuff down/store it away. Please don’t bring valuables.Everyone is responsible for their own belongings.

What Should I Wear?

My fit is important. What should I wear?

Fam, you should wear whatever you feel the best in! There is no formal dress code for 5X, except we highly encourage you to put your personality into your fit. Beyond that, we’d say comfortable shoes, something that safely holds your belongings while you’re fist bumping or jamming out, and wear-appropriate clothing.

What’s at the Festival?

Will there be food there?

Yes, we will have a dope selection of food trucks for you to choose from. Note: no outside food or drinks are permitted.
