Raveena Aurora Live At the Tiny Desk Concert

It seemed like the confined space of NPR’s music department only added to Raveena’s magnetic personality. She danced, she smiled and, most importantly, she sang — opening the Tiny Desk concert with her hit single Honey and following it up with Bloom and Still Dreaming

Raveena Aurora is an R&B musician from Queens, NY, who has gathered a sizeable following since the release of her EP Shanti in 2017. In her work, she explores sensuality, trauma as well as cultural heritage, drawing heavily from South Asian traditions. Raveena has also released her first album Lucid independently in 2019 to overwhelmingly positive reviews.
