The Girls are Back!

After an incredible first season, Amazon Prime’s original series “Four More Shots Please” is back for a second round.

Following the lives of best friends Damini, Umang, Anjana and Siddhi, the show is a bold, riveting homage to girl gangs everywhere. What makes the show bold is its unapologetic subject content. It’s centered on millennial Mumbai culture and follows the lives of all four women as they navigate their careers, sexuality, relationships, and friendships. While most shows with brown characters fall into stereotypical renditions, there is no shortage of resonance or relativity here with all four women. It’s like ‘Sex and the City’-- but by and for brown girls.

The second season premieres on Friday, April 17th on Amazon Prime.
