TKC Design Inc. is a Vancouver based fashion label, that is all about the embodiment of color and creating conversation through clothing. The owner, Taranjit (Taran) Cheema, is a Canadian-born designer who explores mix media and always strives to create unique and inspirational pieces. Taran graduated from Parsons, The New School for Design in Manhattan, with a Bachelor in Fine Arts. Her thesis collection was presented at the prestigious Parson Fashion Benefit Gala and was sought out by Lady Gaga's stylist, Brandon Maxwell. She received an in depth experience in to the fashion industry during her internship with Donna Karan, Diane Von Furstenburg, Milk Studios and Stella McCartney. Since graduation Taran has been sponsored for Vancouver Fashion Week for 5 years and has launched her own label, TKC Design Inc. 2 years ago. Inspired by color and rich textures, TKC Design Inc. hopes to inspire a movement of endless possibilities and innovative design with purpose.
